As part of the Paradies project, a workshop was held with the target group (older adults and their family members) in each of the two project communities, Wiener Neudorf (June 20, 2024) and Klosterneuburg (July 24, 2024).
During the workshops, participants had the opportunity to discuss issues with members of the project team and were asked about their opinions, perceptions, and wishes for their own community. The workshop was divided into different stations, each led by a different member of the project team.
The “best practice” examples from other Austrian municipalities, compiled by B-NK GmbH, were presented to the participants at one of the stations. The main goal was to determine whether and to what extent the participants would embrace these ideas and whether there was interest in implementing them in their own municipalities.
The outcome of the two workshops can be considered very positive, as the participants were highly engaged and provided important input for the project’s future work.
