B-NK GmbH, the Office for Sustainable Competence, specializes in areas that are seemingly “gender-neutral,” such as urban, landscape, and transportation planning, mobility research, technology and engineering, and environmental and sustainability research—as well as in planning and communication processes and in technology-oriented research and development projects in general— — to incorporate the human perspective, to develop approaches for change in collaboration with key stakeholders, and to support organizations through transformation processes toward the climate, energy, and mobility transitions, as well as gender equality.
Our Offers
The Office for Sustainable Competence conducts research projects and studies in which gender and diversity perspectives are fully integrated into the formulation of research questions, the development of research designs, the selection of methods, and the dissemination of findings. In addition, the Office for Sustainable Competence supports research teams, research institutions, companies, universities, municipalities, and other organizations in their efforts to drive change toward sustainable development and gender equality.
