In recent years, we have guided and supported the municipality in implementing climate-resilient measures.
As part of a station-based presentation, we will present the key findings of the project:
- Green-Blue Infrastructure: Introduction to Evapo+ Green Walls and Rainwater Management Measures
- Climate-Resilient Planting: Selection and Signage for Various Climate-Resilient Trees and Roadside Vegetation
- Land-Use Planning Recommendations: Specific Implementations in Local Land-Use Planning, Zoning Plans, and Contractual Land-Use Regulations
- Involving Students in Green Space Maintenance and Hands-On Learning About Climate Change Adaptation in Schools and Preschools
- Community Involvement: The “Stolze Föhre” Beautification Association showcases its activities.
A special highlight of the event is Mayor Ludwig Deltl’s presentation, in which he discusses the project’s initial steps, its concrete implementation, and the path toward a “climate-resilient Strasshof an der Nordbahn.”
