Just in time for the official end of the project, the closing event for the Strasshof.Klimafit! project took place on March 31, 2025, at the Haus der Begegnung in Strasshof. Together with interested members of the public, municipal representatives, and project partners, attendees looked back on three successful years of the project.
Following opening remarks by Lisa Humer of the Climate and Energy Fund, there was a brief introduction to the project and a presentation of its diverse results. At several stations, visitors were able to learn about the measures that had been implemented and speak directly with the experts. In addition, a wide range of informational materials on the various measures was made available.
The “Stolze Föhre” Community Improvement Association presented its current activities and planned initiatives in Strasshof an der Nordbahn.
A particular highlight was the “city tour” with Mayor Ludwig Deltl: Using a large-scale map of the city laid out in the room, the individual climate protection measures were presented and discussed once again from the municipality’s perspective.
The event concluded with an opportunity for an open discussion. Together, everyone realized just how much had been accomplished in Strasshof over the past few years.
