On May 14, 2025, a meeting of the EWV4Energiewende research project took place at Schweizerhaus Hadersdorf. Almost all of the project partners met there in person to get an idea of the project status and the next steps on site.
Inspection and exchange on site
A particular focus was on the building inspection of the Schweizerhaus Hadersdorf (SHH), which serves as a pilot site in the project. The historic building and the surrounding grounds were inspected together in order to gather important information for the development of a concept for converting to renewable energies. MACH Energiegesllschaft m.b.H. will develop an energy concept for the Schweizerhaus Hadersdorf on the basis of these impressions. At the same time, Claudia Bienert and Claus Obrecht – Janu from SHH also told us a lot of interesting facts about the history, origins and current use of the building.
Networking with Gender4Power
Another highlight was the exchange with partners from the Gender4Power project, which was made possible during the meeting. This networking opens up new perspectives on social issues relating to the energy transition – an important aspect for developing sustainable and fair solutions.
The meeting showed once again how important personal exchange and direct local knowledge are for the development of viable solutions.
