On August 30, 2024, an online workshop was held on the topic of ““Gender and Diversity Competence: The Basics” as part of the Kura:Div project, AP2 “Gender Consulting.”
The interactive workshop began with an introduction to the terms “gender,” “diversity,” and “inclusion,” and an explanation of the dimensions of gender and gender diversity. The gender dimensions in (technology-oriented) research and in companies were also discussed.
In addition, participants shared their experiences and exchanged feedback.
The speaker was Dr. Bente Knoll, managing director of B-NK GmbH.
Additional workshops on developing gender competencies are being planned.
