The study was conducted as part of the Leonardo da Vinci project \u201cEco stands for \u2013 Quality Handbook: Quality Standards for Eco Counseling in the EU\u2014Standards for European Eco Counseling,\u201d in which environmental organizations from various European countries participated to address quality issues and quality standards in the vocational education and training of environmental counselors in Europe.<\/p>\n
Bente Knoll was responsible, among other things, for the work package \u201cGender Consulting\/Coaching and Gender Mainstreaming,\u201d which aims to incorporate knowledge about the connection between gender and the environment\u2014and sustainability\u2014into the development of standards for the vocational training and continuing education of environmental consultants. Bente Knoll was one of the people responsible for this work.<\/p>\n
The report \u201cGender Analysis of Eco-Counseling in Europe\u201d is the written outcome of this work package and provides an overview of the numerical distribution of women and men in environmental organizations across various European countries. It serves as a foundation for further work in the area of gender and environmental counseling. Other materials developed as part of the project include \u201cCurriculum\u2014Quality Standards for the Training of Environmental Counselors,\u201d a two-day \u201cGender Training Course,\u201d and the handbook \u201cQuality Standards for Eco Counseling in Europe.
