The goals of an exhibition may include: fulfilling an educational mission, promoting cultural understanding, eliciting emotional responses, encouraging reflection or inspiration, inspiring experimentation, and much more. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure that these goals are achieved as effectively as possible, it is necessary to take into account the diverse circumstances of visitors (gender, gender identity, age groups, special needs due to physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities, cultural background, etc.).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project involves the creation of a tool (the Curator Companion App) designed to help exhibition planners create content that is sensitive to gender and diversity and tailored to specific target audiences. The app is intended to serve as a guide and resource, drawing attention to key considerations and offering suggestions for appropriate design. It helps ensure that exhibition content is presented respectfully and appropriately with regard to gender, cultural diversity, and other sensitive topics, that it appeals to a wider range of visitors, and that no one is excluded due to physical, social, or other factors.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Survey of the needs of various gender groups (gender, age, people with cognitive impairments, migrants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capturing the Diversity of Perceptions of an Exhibition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying barriers to an open engagement with museum objects from various gender and diversity perspectives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation of a tool (\u201cCurator Companion App\u201d) for inclusive design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimizing Exhibition Design Based on Visitors&#8217; Experiences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the collaboration of researchers, technicians, sociologists, curators, and various user groups, the consortium is already embodying diversity within the project.
