{"id":12748,"date":"2024-12-30T15:10:55","date_gmt":"2024-12-30T14:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.b-nk.at\/uncategorized\/green-cool-schools-grow-europe\/"},"modified":"2026-07-16T10:28:05","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T08:28:05","slug":"green-cool-schools-grow-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.b-nk.at\/en\/projekte-en\/green-cool-schools-grow-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Cool Schools GROW Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Green Cool Schools GROW Europe<strong> <\/strong>builds on the following previous projects:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.b-nk.at\/projekte\/gruenes-planen-wohnen-leben\/erasmus-project-learning4greenschools\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"4621\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Erasmus+ Project \u201cL4GS\u201d<\/a> (Learning4Greens@Schools, Learning and Teaching Materials for Greening Schools)<\/strong> (February 2022\u2013January 2023): Development of a multilingual website, materials, and guides.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.b-nk.at\/projekte\/gruenes-planen-wohnen-leben\/green-cool-schools-network\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"9549\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Erasmus+ Project \u201cGreenCoolSchools Network\u201d<\/a><\/strong> (February 2024\u2013January 2025): Networking among teachers, compiling best practices, presenting awards, and developing criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Several Austrian national R&amp;D projects, as well as practical experience in the field of greening schools. For more information, visit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grueneschulen.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.grueneschulen.at<\/a> (in German only). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Green Cool Schools GROW Europe aims <\/strong>to promote sustainability and green innovation in education by providing schools with practical resources and collaborative networks.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Green Cool Schools GROW Europe provides hands-on teaching materials, background information, and practical guides on topics related to greening schools.<br \/>To that end, we offer materials in the respective national languages on our website, as well as detailed country-specific information.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The materials are freely available on the website <a href=\"https:\/\/greencoolschools.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/greencoolschools.eu\/<\/a>\u2014which originated from previous Erasmus+ projects\u2014and will be available in six different languages. In addition, the project aims to expand the existing international \u201cGreen Cool Schools\u201d network, where teachers from different countries can connect, exchange ideas, and share their experiences with one another. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greencoolschools.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Green Cool Schools platform<\/a>, we aim to promote the <strong>exchange of knowledge<\/strong> among teachers, <strong>share best practices<\/strong>, and encourage wider adoption through training sessions, events, and multimedia resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our <strong>activities<\/strong> include creating and refining teaching materials and building instructions, supporting schools in constructing green features, and documenting these processes through videos. In addition, we will raise awareness of the Green Cool Schools initiative through awards, events, and digital outreach efforts, and we will promote international collaboration through webinars and on-site exchanges. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Expected Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We expect the implementation of <strong>15 green elements<\/strong>, validated and multilingual teaching materials, and an expanded website showcasing <strong>150 best practices<\/strong>.
